EDUCATION

After more than twenty years in the financial services industry, I decided in 2025 to transition into massage therapy, a profession more in line with my values and life journey.

My journey led me to earn a certificate in Swedish massage from the IKRA Massage Therapy Academy, followed by training in kinesiotherapy, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the human body, muscle tension, and mobilization techniques through a program comprising over 1,000 hours of coursework combined with clinical practice.

My personal journey has also shaped my understanding of the body and well-being. From a young age, sports have played an important role in my life: running, track and field, basketball, soccer, and rowing.

In 2005, I earned my black belt in Kyokushinkai karate and subsequently taught children at the Académie Parc. This experience taught me discipline, respect, the importance of recognizing the body’s limits, and the ability to adapt to others.

APPROACH

My practice is based on an approach that is at once technical, compassionate, and intuitive. I strive to be fully present with the person and their body, tailoring the treatment to their needs at that moment.

Swedish massage allows me to focus primarily on relaxation, circulation, and the release of tension. Physical therapy has enabled me to incorporate mobilization techniques into my practice and gain a deeper understanding of movement and physical limitations.

Beyond the techniques themselves, I believe that touch can have a deeply comforting effect. This conviction developed particularly through my experience with my mother, whom I was able to massage and support during a time when her mobility was declining. I realized then just how beneficial massage therapy can be for older adults : to promote circulation, reduce muscle tension, maintain mobility, and also to meet a fundamental human need for touch and comfort.

VISION AND VALUES

My journey has gradually led me to develop a holistic view of well-being, in which the body, mind, and the quality of presence are intimately connected.

My volunteer work in palliative care at the Jewish General Hospital and providing Reiki treatments to people with cancer at the “Hope and cope” home have played a major role in this journey.

Yoga, meditation, and Reiki have taught me gentleness and the importance of slowing down. Karate has instilled in me strength and discipline. Sports have given me a deep awareness of the body. End-of-life care has taught me the value of presence and touch.

Today, I aim to bring all these experiences together in my practice to offer a space where people can unwind, reconnect with their bodies, and restore their well-being—whether through relaxation, pain relief, the release of tension, or simply through the quality of human connection.
